How 2012 turns out

2012? What have I had in 2012? I think I can't every single moment that I've had in so-called-doomsday year. Perhaps it's because my life in this year just so-so, I've been too busy with my college 'things'. I am in semester 5 already, the beginning phase of the hardest time in pursuing my undergraduate title.

How about your resolutions in 2012? Have they come true? Believe it or not, I have no such 'tradition' in my life. Since I was born, I've never made any resolutions at every single new year. Perhaps that's why my life is just so-so, because I've no much expectation. I don't feel how people when they make resolution come true or they couldn't make it. But I don't really care about, isn't there a saying that says "great thing happens when you least expect it." And some great things really happened to me. Let me tell you then.

Let's start with the presence of my cute niece. You might already know about it since I've mentioned it some times on my previous posts. My big sister and her husband got their first child. It adds some happiness to my family. Now, we are seeing Nabila (my niece) in cutest phase. Every time we see her doings, we will smile even laugh happily.

Another thing is, I am taken now. I am dating with a very good girl now. She is my fellow student. It's really great since I didn't really expect it. It surprised me, it really did. While I am enjoying my status of being single, thing turn out to be..... good, very good instead. Though being a boyfriend means I have responsibility, I think as a lesson for me to get older and better.

Those two are my main great thing which happened to me in 2012. There are many good moments which happened to me in 2012 actually such as, my trip to Bali, my vacation to Water boom, and etc. But I think these two great things are enough to show you that great thing happens when you least expect it.

A month ago my fellow students and I had a really fun vacation in Bali. Although we were there just no more than 3 days, it was a wonderful one. Alright, let the pictures prove it.

FUTSAL VS FOOTBALL

As human’s need of healthy lifestyle is getting high, people are trying very hard to be healthy. One way to be healthy is doing sport, and one of the most popular sports nowadays is Futsal. Futsal is quite different from football or soccer, but somehow they are the same. Futsal is played by 5 players on the pitch while Football is played by 11 players on the pitch.

One obvious difference is the place to play. Futsal is an indoor sport yet football is played outdoor. Futsal’s pitch is smaller than football’s, so futsal is able to be played indoor. Futsal uses a hard-court surface as the pitch while football uses grass as its pitch.

If football is played two halves of 45 minutes each, futsal is played two halves of 20 minutes each. In a football match, the time is running till the end of each half though the ball is not played on but in a futsal match, the time stops when the ball is out of the pitch or when the ball is not played on. Futsal has 4 time-outs, two for each team. Each team can only use a time-out for each half. On the other hand, football doesn’t have any time-out.

Another difference between futsal and football is the amount of the referees. Futsal has two referees in each match, referee 1 and referee 2. The two deserve to make decisions but referee 1 is usually more powerful than referee 2. In contrast, football has only one referee who is helped by two linesmen. Every decision on the pitch is made by the referee and the linesmen just help the referee to make the decision.

In spite of these differences, these two apparently opposite sports share several similarities.

Both, for example, have similar required kits for playing. Jersey which has number on it, long socks, shin pad, shoes, and gloves for goalkeeper (optional) are kits which must be equipped by all players. Except for the shoes which have different type, all kits which are required for playing futsal and football are generally the same.

Some technical terms in futsal are essentially just the same as in football. Handballs, direct and indirect free-kicks, kick off, goal kick, and penalty kick are the terms known in both sports. The way those terms are done in football and futsal match is the same.

Final similarity is that the performance and achievement of a football national team portray its futsal national team, vice versa. For example, Brazil who is the five-time winner of FIFA Football World Cup has a very good futsal national team and has won FIFA Futsal World Cup five times. Another example is Spain. Spanish football national team, the depending champion of FIFA Football World Cup 2010 and Euro Cup 2012, is one of the most powerful teams in the world. They have won Futsal World Cup two times and were the runner up for the 2 latest FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Futsal and football is different yet alike. Although the two sports differ in some things such us the place for playing, the time, and the referee, they share several things in common. Furthermore, their differences and similarities make them more interesting to play.

Hi, how life treats you?

I'd like to tell a short story, the true one. This story is about a boy's childhood in a small villages. He spent his childhood by studying at school and playing freely with his friends.He studied at very old elementary school in that small village. The school didn't have many students since the students just came from the village. Each class averagely had 4 pupils.

In the first grade, the boy had six classmates -quite big for this old school- and five of his classmates are boys. The boy was taught to read though the boy could read since kindergarten. But, his some of classmates were struggling hard to do that. At that time, it seemed that the class was spent for playing instead of studying.

In the second grade, the boy had only three classmates. Three of his classmates didn't make it to the next grade and the remainder were with him in the second grade. The boy did many things fun not only with his fellow students, but also with other students in different grade - because all of the students came from the same village, they knew each other very much.

In the third grade, the boy still had three classmates, but one of the classmates was different person. One of the boy's classmate in the second grade moved to another elementary school in different village.But, a student who had move to different city move back to the village and went to school with the boy. And this formation remained till the boy and his friend graduated from the school.

Can you imagine how the boy's feeling being together with the same students for years and stuck in that small village with not-so-many ? You might think, it was very lonely and boring. Not really. in fact, the boy lived his life happily playing with his friend. The boy played many traditional games in the village, as if his whole life spent by playing. Not all children in this world are as happy as the boy.

Now, the boy is growing. He is studying at college now. He has many things to do and take care. He is not as happy as he was. He can't play some traditional games freely anymore. He has to live his life in different way. And the boy is feeling boring now, so he writes his story for you.

Actually it's a little bit too late, I'd like to post some pictures of my friends' birthdays, Rivai and Fatma. They both have the same birthday but different year. Their birthday is on October 23rd. On October 23rd, 2012 we made a surprise party for both of them. We also made cakes for Rivai and Fatma -- the green cake was for Rivai and the purple one was for Fatma, as their favorite colors. That was such a lovely moment for us, especially for Rivai and Fatma.

How to get fed when you are broke

If you are a student who lives in a boarding house and very far from your parents, I am sure that you know how the suffering of being broke at the end of month. It might be because you too much spend your monthly budget transferred by your parents in early dates of month, or the money transferred by your parents is too little to suffice your expenses. You have to struggle hard to deal with this condition. Perhaps you could stand still for needs of entertainment, cellphone balance, and clothes, but when it comes to food ‘thing’ or tummy’s business, you are dying. However, you don’t have to worry about it. There are three simple steps to get fed when you are broke.

First, you have to make friends as many as possible. You need to have many friends since you are far away from your parents. Your life will be much easier when you have many friends. Your friends will help you when you need their hands or something bad happens to you. However, make sure that you are a useful hand for them either, so you are helping each other.

Then, having many friends is not enough. You have to get close to them. You have to know them inside and outside. I am sure that you don’t want to have a fake friend which can cause terrible things to you. Be more intimate to your friends, even if their sexes are opposite to you. You also need to know things related to their families such as their lives at home, their parents, their parents’ occupation, their houses and etc.

Last of all, you just need to come to your rich-but-generous friends’ houses in the meal time (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) after knowing everything about them and being closer to them. And make up your face as if you haven’t eaten for days. Your friends or your friends’ family will pity toward your suffering and they will invite you to have meal with them. Now, it’s time for you to eat as much as you want. Because your friends are rich, their food must be very much and delicious. However, please behave appropriately when you are at dining table.

In the end, your communication ability and seriousness in doing these steps are the key of successful result. When you succeed, your problem is solved. However, I suggest you not to come to one of your friends’ houses more than once a day since your friend would no longer pity to you if you do that. After all, having friends is important. Friend in need is a friend indeed.

P.S: This is a process essay written by myself to fulfill WRITING IV task given by Mr. Sirajudin. Don't take the content very seriously. It's just to fulfill the task. I am sure that you don't wanna be considered manner-less by doing the steps above. But if you are inspired by this composition, I feel honor and please let me know :)

Stalking Comprehension Theory

Penasaran kenapa kenapa nama blog ini "Stalking Comprehension" ??? Stalking Comprehension adalah teori penemuan seorang pakar stalker yaitu saya sendiri yg emang suka nge-stalk orang di dunia maya. Teori ini terdiri dari 2 kata dasar yaitu stalk dan comprehension, untuk kata stalk mungkin teman2 udah pada tau, kalo comprehension disini sama artinya kaya comprehension di "Reading Comprehension" dan "Listening Comprehension" yg secara garis besar artinya secara keseluruhan. Jadi Stalking Comrehension adalah kegiatan melakukan stalking dengan secara menyeluruh, bukan hanya orang2 yg memang secara sadar ingin kita stalk, tapi juga orang2 yg berhubungan dgn mereka, baik itu teman, keluarga, bahkan pacar.

Sampai disini paham???

Pasti orang2 pada ngira kalo stalking itu berangkat dari curiosity atau rasa ingin tahu atau ke-kepo-an yang ada dalam hati, emang bener sih, hal itu ga bisa dipungkirin. Orang2 juga pasti ngira kalo yang namanya stalking itu pasti dilakukan seseorang yg lagi naksir sama objek stalkingnya atau ga seseorang yg men-stalk mantannya?? Ga selalu kok..., Lalu apa manfaat dari melakukan stalking comprehension?? Apa itu ga buang2 waktu kita?? Kita mungkin akan men-stalk orang2 yg ga kita kenal??? Kita bahkan mungkin akan men-stalk orang2 yg namanya dan wajahnya hanya kita tau dari akun sosial medianya, tapi selain itu, kita ga tau apa2 tentang mereka?? Pointnya bukan pada kita kenal atau tidak dgn objek stalking kita, tapi dapat apa kita sehabis melakukan stalking. Bagaiman pikiran kita setelah melakukan stalking, apakah gitu2 aja atau ada perubahan.. Manfaatnya banyak kok, kita bisa nambah ilmu dan membuka wawasan yg lebih luas tentang dunia ini, yaa asalkan objek stalking kita orang yg tepat. Contohnya saya pernah nge-stalk sesorang yg entah siapa, dia nulis bagus banget di blognya tentang purpose of life, dan itu keren serta inspiring..(Cek disini )

Saya sendiri udah sering ngelakuin stalking comprehension baik itu di twitter, facebook, ataupun blog, dan banyak kata2 bijak atau pemikiran yg sedikit banyak changing my mind. Ada juga ilmu2 yg saya dapat dari ngelakuin stalking. Namun itu semua emang ga secara instan mengubah pemikiran dan perilaku kita, tapi yaa kalo melakukan stalkingnya istiqomah dan objek stalkingnya juga orang2 yg tepat, maka lambat laun kita akan get better. Yaaa anggap aja kuliah gratis

Rabu malam sekitar pukul 7.30, saya dan teman2 SMA dapat kabar yg mengejutkan dari teman saya melalui sosial media. Kabar yang mengejutkan itu adalah berpulangnya salah satu guru SMA kami yaitu Pak Edy. Ini mengejutkan karena terkahir kami ketemu beliau yaitu beberapa hari setelah lebaran, beliau keliatannya sehat dan masih bisa becanda dgn kami.

Pak Edy itu salah satu guru senior yg ngajar ekonomi dan akuntansi di SMAN 1 Banjarbaru. Kalau ga salah, beliau udah lebih dari 20 tahun ngajar di Smansa (nama beken SMAN 1 Banjarbaru). Selain ngajar, beliau juga jadi ketua koprasi di Smansa. Mungkin karena keahliannya di bidang hitung-menghitung uang, maka beliau jadi ketua koprasi di Smansa.

Pak Edy ini guru yg sangat baik dan cerdas, mungkin kecerdasannya itulah yg nuntun beliau menjadi guru Akuntansi. Walau tutur katanya lembut, Pak Edy itu orangnya humoris. Ga jarang kita muridnya sering dibuat ketawa karena lelucun yg beliau buat ketika ngajar. Beliau juga orang yang peduli dengan murid2nya, buktinya setiap ketemu dengan muridnya Pak Edy akan bertanya, "Kapan bayar SPPnya nak?" :)) yaa, beliau juga yang ngurusin SPP di Smansa makanya bisa dibilang beliau ini keuangannya Smansa selain komite tentunya.

Setiap orang pasti memiliki keunikannya masing2, gitu juga Pak Edy. Salah satu keunikan Pak Edy adalah beliau sangat jarang bahkan hampir ga pernah bawa buku waktu ngajar. Kayanya semua materi sudah ada di kepala beliau. Mungkin itu hasil dari puluhan tahun mengajar. Selain itu, hal lain yang khas dari diri beliau adalah sifatnya yg humoris waktu ngajar. Kami pun sering ketawa walaupun yang kami ketawain adalah sindiran buat diri kami sendiri, misalnya, di sela2 gajar Pak Edy pernah bilang dgn suaranya yg lembut, "ayo dikerjakan, nanti nangis waktu ujian" atau "jangan ketawa2, entar ga lulus," Buat kami hal itu bukan untuk mendoakan kejelekan atau menurunkan motivasi belajar kami, tapi justru beliau pengen kami termotivasi dan lulus ujian dengan nilai yg memuaskan.

Walaupun sering berurusan sama uang yg banyak, Pak Edy orang yg sederhana. Beliau biasanya ke sekolah hanya dengan motor tuanya yang bisa dibilang (maaf...) butut. Namun hal itu ga ngurangin dedikasi beliau buat ngedidik murid2 yg dicintainya. Beliau selalu dengan sepenuh hati ngasih pelajaran kepada kami muridnya.

Kini, guru humoris berdedikasi tersebut sudah menghadap yang maha kuasa. Waktu yg diberikan Tuhan padanya untuk hidup di dunia telah berakhir. Di alam yang abadi lah saat ini beliau berada. Maski demikian, jasa2 dan perbuatan baik almarhum tetap membekas di hati setiap orang. Semoga amal ibadah beliau mendapat ganjaran surga dari Allah SWT.

Yesterday, October 12, a friend of mine, Lutfi Pratama Putra was having his birthday. He turns 21. My friends and I in English Department '10 made a surprise party for him. We thought that Lutfi deserved this, so made it for him. Although somehow, sometimes he is annoying, he is a nice and humble person.
