It’s my weekly activity; after drowning in tight schedule of lectures, I always go home to Banjarbaru every weekend.  As I told in previous post, I just got a little cute niece. I am a little bit surprised when I see my niece’s hair is quite longer than it was in a week ago. Before I went to Banjarmasin a week ago, I noticed there was only a little hair on my niece’s head.   Now her hair grows beautifully and she even got earrings on her ears.
Growing is one of human beings characteristics. We grow naturally as a sign that we are alive. We can see someone who used to be kid several years ago, now she/he is a teenager. We can also see some hair on certain spots on our bodies and our nails on the outer tip of our fingers or toes are getting longer. They all are growing.
However, growing is not only about physical matter. Growth is also about the way of thinking and the way of behavior. For instance, someone who used to act childishly and coquettishly now she/he acts maturely.
Growth is identical with change. It’s pretty normal since we human beings are agents of change. We could change to whoever we are. Neighborhood, friends, and of course ourselves are the key factors of our change. We should make sure that we are in the right place, in the great circle of friends, and in the righteous “person”. Mahatma Gandhi says, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” If we want to change the world, we should make change over ourselves first.  And I do hope the change that we make is better change.

Good luck everyone, Have a great day.
