Moslem greatest celebration ,Eidul Fitri holiday is over. People get back to their daily activity. They just get back from what Indonesian call, "Mudik". Mudik is like, leaving your "job-town" and go back to place where you belong, Hometown. Indonesian usually go to their hometowns to celebrate Eidul Fitri there. It's always great to celebrate a very special day  with our family and relatives in our hometowns..

I also did Mudik this year. I celebrated Eidul Fitri with my relatives in my hometown, Kandangan, HSS.However, I've got something missing when I do mudik. What makes people who do mudik really want to go home is they miss their parents or grandparents. The sad fact, my grandparents already passed away. My grandpa died long time ago, even I hadn't been born at that time. While my grandma died two years after my birth, what a two-year baby could remember, huh? He didn't even know who he was.

Yeah, I do envy everyone who still can have a chitchat with their grandparents.People take a lesson about old life, learn some classic and traditional recipe, and are told about Dutch and Japan occupation in Indonesia from their grandparents. I am really craving for those kind of old things..!!!

What can I do? This is God's will. What God has done is sure the best for me. Though sometimes I feel sad  with that fact even some tears cross over my cheek, I know that God knows more even best. Being grateful for what I have is much better than regretting my life. I am sure that I am luckier than some other people out there.

My Grandparents in their wedding. (Handsome and beautiful, right?)
